Yossi Rosenstein is an experienced American painter whose artistic practice seeks to open up new avenues and definitions of what constitutes Jewish Art. He paints in a realistic style, translating scenes from the bible onto his canvas. Subsequently, the subjects which appear in his paintings are deeply symbolic. Combining traditional Jewish ideology with contemporary art methods and styles, Rosenstein makes possible an entirely new genre of Jewish Art.
