About this artwork
When sketching for this work, Young wanted to express a sensation of being levitated - thus, the visual articulation of cloud like objects. She first glued together several layers of paper followed by the process of ripping horizontally, leaving deep horizontal lines. Then She moved on to doing the same, this time, ripping vertically.
