Nature has always been an important motif for me. Just flowers in their unpretentious beauty. They grow, bloom, wither, and are reborn again from year to year, and give their sincere love and beauty to those who contemplate them.
Lilies will attract me with their longevity, because many generations grow from the bulb of this flower, renewing themselves every year and giving beauty to others, and their aroma will always be with me as an association… with a person who is very dear to me, my beloved grandmother.
The painting is painted on canvas with an acrylic underpainting, which here and there shines through the layer of oil paints that made up the main composition. It is painted in warm, gentle and light colors, with clear contours that give more dynamics to the overall image.
