Yurij Sidorenko uses metaphor and allegory when creating realistic images. The Ukrainian painter works in different genres and directions, portraying still life, nature, and figurative in all of their respective manifestations. In his more recent works, Sidorenko shares his emotions and fantasies that help to convey a ‘state of nature’. He creates using oils, as he feels the material is more durable and has established itself over the centuries.
