"Ocellations" combines different techniques including acrylic and charcoal.
Here, the vibrancy is not due to stencils, but to the strong presence of the line, my secret weapon.
Various fragments and symbols (eyes, truncated human forms, stems) construct a plurality of meanings.
The whole thing is a scene that could be described as surreal, or at least dreamlike.
The dark palette departs from my previous chromatic research, in a quest for concentration… and calming.
