About this artwork
My first painting similar to this work was titled ‘Projection’ and this minimalist style is also a conceptual abstract of mine. Seemingly simplistic, but not entirely and also easy on the eye with lively colours, with a subtle complimentary backdrop. It is also a play of light and shadow almost cognitive to each other, again complimentary. Simultaneously, the lively colour choice have a careful balance throughout, transcending to an almost calmness.…
The painting is mostly done by brush and a little bit of colour pencil on a watercolour paper sheet. This one does need some kind of framing to help protect it, incorporating a modern design. The concept is all in the balance, keeping the square element.
