The “Dark Night” is a portrayal of the injustices that nature faces in an obscure perspective. her focus on a single powerful wave emphasizes the force of nature while the striking contrast of colors is a reflection of the violence we inflict on the natural world. Just like no two waves are ever the same, nature is ever-evolving. And as white counterbalances black, so too Humans must find their balance in the rhythm of nature.
This art work is created… the style of random realism, pop art and impressionism. High quality oil colours were used, colours used in this painting are black, white, prussian blue, azure blue, turquoise blue, cadmium red and vermillion. The use of black on a dominant portion of the painting is to show dual ideas. The white wave shows strong sense of motion and force of nature.
