The Stoa was a meeting place in Ancient Greece where merchants could sell their goods and artists could display their artwork. The painting ‘Stoa’ does not represent the specific one, it is an idea of the building with infinite columns streaming to connect today’s society with the past. The highest good in Stoicism was knowledge and the individual's inner strength, which could be an inspiration for all of us.
