But rather than make gauzy claims about their “hidden” beauty or underappreciated…
utility, Paic recreates them with perspective lines that seem to stretch into the unseeable distance, the horizon, the sky, or the earth beneath our feet. Zeljka Paic is a prizewinning painter from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who has exhibited her work internationally. With a background in architecture, geometry and science heavily influence her artistic practice, but she seeks to balance this technical precision with the importance of expressing emotion and spontaneous thought during the creative process. Her finished works are striking gatherings of metallic color combinations and bold brush strokes.
