About this artwork
For the past few years my work has investigated my
personal experience of motherhood, but as my children
grow and develop, my practice has been taking new
twists and turns. Lately I have been concerned with
my own memories of childhood and how quite often,
the most prominent ones I have are those collected
on family holidays. I have been thinking about the
days out and holidays I have with my own children
and have been merging these with my own childhood…
memories.
