About this artwork
I have always appreciated the beauty of the Lisbon Cathedral during the day, but at night, while walking through the historic streets of the city, the cathedral illuminated by the silvery moonlight caught my attention in a special way. This nocturnal vision, with its details highlighted by the moon's soft light, inspired me to bring it to the canvas using shades of blue for the night sky and silver to accentuate the architecture. revealed a new facet of the Cathedral to me, motivating me to paint it with different colors.
