About this artwork
During that time, we don’t have a good library. So our young people become less interested to go the library. Till now, we still don’t have many libraries yet even at Universities. I tried to compare other young people who are reading smartly at the library while we have to read on the roadside.

Zun Ei Phyu is a prize-winning artist based in Burma whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Thailand, Japan, China, Austria, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Her artworks center around themes relating to stories of the elderly, children's education, and socio-economics of her country. Phyu most recent compositions explore people and perceptions. Creating mostly with paper, her pieces are made through highly detailed knife cuts, ranging from single to multiple layers.
