A curation by Marcos Felinto, founder and curator at 3.gallery - Gray is rarely associated with life, movement or emotional intensity.
More often, it evokes silence, erosion, ambiguity or absence. Even the expression “gray area” suggests something undefined or uncertain.
In this selection, however, gray becomes something else entirely.
Rather than concealing meaning, it reveals it.
By stripping away excess color, these works bring attention to atmosphere, texture, memory, tension and presence. Across photography, painting and mixed techniques, gray emerges not as emptiness, but as a deliberate visual language capable of carrying depth, emotion and clarity.
