A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - In commemoration of the World Day for African Culture celebrated annually on January 24th, this collection takes inspiration from the continent, its people, and its traditions. Through color and figurative creations, these artworks present vibrant compositions that transport the viewer into fantastical scenes. Their immense beauty is bathed in deep symbolism. At times utopic and expressive at their fullest, sublime imagery with dream-like qualities emerges: translucent bubbles float across canvases, pigments take form, and photography captures fragments of life. In parallel, reality appears in metaphorical ways: human struggles such as climate change, access to energy, or economic vulnerability are portrayed through chromatic play, theatrical scenes, and magical environments. Behind its profound aesthetic, this series opens space for reflection and admiration through imagination and a variety of artistic styles.
