Behind: Grids & Stripes - curated by Juliana Angulo

A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - What lies behind closed doors, fences, or stripes? This collection explores unique worlds that exist between depth, perspective, and layers of color. An investigation of form, space, and emptiness through creativity. Between abstractions and figurations, there is always a mystery to be unveiled. Each work contains multiple interpretations: behind grids, a whole world to be found. A woman beneath layers of translucent paint, a surreal collage hiding under sticks, or an ocean visible through yellow bars. Abstractions provide multiple dimensions through the use of lines and color, while photographs uniquely framed uncover untold stories. Through a dynamic and multichromatic series, these works express not only physical and technical depth but also emotional and symbolic meaning. A journey through boundaries and distance, allowing the viewer to discover what hides beneath the surface.
