A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - This collection takes inspiration from the 20th century French humanist photography, celebrating life through a realistic yet poetic lens. A selection of predominantly monochrome photographs captures fleeting moments of society via multicultural portraits, animal subjects, documentary imagery and surreal elements. Their diverse techniques range from analogue to digital and hybrid works, allowing concept and the familiar to converge. Everyday life is transformed into extraordinary scenes that through absence of color, atmospheric lighting and unique framing, present visions that transcend beyond the ordinary.
