A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - This collection takes inspiration from UNESCO’s International Day of Light, celebrated every year in the month of May, while conceptually evoking its beauty and role in society. From lighthouses to lightbulbs, neon colors, electric cables, and illuminated cityscapes, these images place sources of energy at the center of their compositions transforming them into symbolic subjects. Although their styles and techniques are widely diverse, together they implicitly reflect how light is fundamental not only for science and technology, but also for art and creativity.
