It becomes internal, intimate, a geography of perceptions that continues to breathe within us. Being present, even without seeing, is an act of trust—a way to stay in touch with what moves beneath the surface of the image. Eyes Closed, Still Here speaks of inner presence, of that form of vision born of silence and suspension. The absence of the external gaze opens a new space, where matter transforms into sensation, and distance becomes listening. The works gathered in this exhibition invite us to pause in the interval between perception and imagination: an invisible territory where reality renews itself, and presence, even without open eyes, continues to be luminous.
