A curation by Natalie Slater, Curator at Singulart - Flowers appear, recede, and reappear throughout these works.
Built through translucent layers of color and fluid mark-making, the compositions resist clear outlines, allowing forms to shift between clarity and dissolution. Petals, stems, and bouquets remain present, but never fully settle into place. At moments, the flowers seem to dissolve into their surroundings, blurring the distinction between subject and atmosphere.
What emerges is a collection concerned as much with mood as subject matter. Color carries the image forward, while floral forms hover at the edge of recognition.
Together, these works invite a slower way of looking, where the act of seeing unfolds gradually across the surface of the painting.
