A curation by Vlad Merariu, Curator at Dance Artworks Gallery - Gold is a collection assembled around humanity's most ancient obsession: the colour that is also a promise. Eighteen works in acrylic, oil, ink, gilding, resin, and pigment trace gold not as decoration but as meaning, ranging from Rudi Eckerle's quietly monumental colour-field structures in yellow and beige to Peppi Spiss's gilded Tutanchamun and SAN STARLING's vast Golden Valley, where the pigment becomes landscape. Hassan Massoudy's calligraphic L'Amour in acrylic and pigment on canvas brings a spiritual register, while Frédéric Halbreich's oil on metal and Andrea Pallang's ink on metal push gold into industrial, alchemical territory. The mood is deep amber and burnished ochre, pale champagne and beaten bronze, the warm haze of last light on every surface it has ever touched.
