A curation by Natalie Slater, Curator at Singulart - This curatorial selection brings together works that explore the experience of moving through space. Roads, tunnels, train platforms, and passing landscapes become the framework for images that are less concerned with destination than with the act of travel itself.
Working with blurred edges, shifting light, and compressed perspectives, the artists capture fleeting moments often overlooked in everyday movement. Headlights stretch across dark roads, buildings emerge through rain and fog, and familiar routes become briefly unfamiliar. The view is often seen through a windshield, from a train platform, or from the middle of a journey already underway.
What connects these works is a shared sense of being between places. Rather than depicting arrival, they linger in the transitional spaces where movement, atmosphere, and memory begin to overlap.
