Lisbon: Light, Lines and Liminal Streets - curated by Vlad Merariu

A curation by Vlad Merariu, Curator at Dance Artworks Gallery - Lisbon is not a single view but a sequence of thresholds: tramlines turning into vectors, tiled facades dissolving into grids, and rain-slicked streets becoming mirrored planes of light. This curation traces the city's topography as a living diagram, moving from expansive harbour perspectives to intimate cafés, from watercolor studies of hidden corners to monumental canvases that map the urban fabric. Across oil, acrylic, watercolor, wax, and digital works, Lisbon emerges as both motif and method, analyzed through rhythm, repetition, and scale, inviting the viewer to read each artwork as a fragment of a larger visual score composed in yellows, azulejo blues, and Atlantic vibes.
