A curation by Vlad Merariu, Curator at Dance Artworks Gallery - Lowland Frames explores the Netherlands through photography as a field of light, water, street life, and urban memory. Moving between Amsterdam nights, canal reflections, Hoorn, Enkhuizen, the Red Light District, panoramic views, and archival traces from the 1970s, the collection captures a country seen through fragments rather than postcards. These works share an attention to atmosphere: wet streets, facades, crowds, quiet gestures, reflective surfaces, and the human scale of public space. Together, they form a visual moodboard of Dutch life, where documentary observation meets memory, rhythm, and contemporary urban poetry.
