Magenta - curated by Sandra Miranda Pattin

A curation by Sandra Miranda Pattin, Curator at Chiasso Perduto - Magenta is the color of both the sacred and the profane, associated with religious power as well as transgression, seduction, and artificiality (think of its connection to printing technology, to synthetics, to what is chemical rather than natural). It's a color that doesn't pretend to be "natural" in the naive sense of the term, and for this very reason it becomes a symbol of the contemporary condition.
