A curation by Elisa Pritzker, Owner / Director at Pritzker Studio & Gallery - “Oasis” begins with the familiar idea of a sheltered point within a larger expanse, traditionally understood as a site of rest and renewal. The exhibition extends this notion beyond its geographic origin, considering how an oasis can take shape as either an abstract construction or a concrete environment. Through shifts in form, structure, and visual rhythm, the works reflect on how an oasis may emerge as a personal condition, a chosen setting, or a mode of inhabiting space. Rather than defining a single destination, the exhibition examines how color, composition, and spatial clarity can articulate the idea of refuge in contemporary terms, moving from the collective image of an oasis to its individualized, imagined vision.
