Pablo Contrisciani: High-Speed Vibrations - curated by Natalie Slater

A curation by Natalie Slater, Curator at Singulart - This focused curatorial selection brings together works from Pablo Contrisciani’s 'Energies' and 'High Speed Vibrations' series, where saturated color, looping gesture, and compressed spatial movement produce a field of continuous visual acceleration. Across the selected paintings, Contrisciani treats the canvas as an active system: broad graffiti-informed strokes collide with tighter chromatic intervals, arcs fold into blocks, and layered passages of paint generate a sense of simultaneous expansion and compression. What first registers as chromatic excess gradually resolves into structure, where rhythm, repetition, and interruption hold the compositions in suspension. Rather than positioning chaos against harmony, these works allow the two to remain coextensive. Movement becomes the governing condition, with each mark operating both as an autonomous event and as part of a larger energetic continuum.
