A curation by Rose Boutboul, Independent Curator at - This selection explores traces, wear, and persistence through works that make temporality their raw material. The collection is distinguished by a process of layering and erasure: it features mixed media techniques where scraping and sanding paint reveal previous layers, as well as acrylics with crackle effects that mimic the passage of time on walls or objects. The curation also includes oil paintings on canvas with faded tones, evoking the nostalgia of fading memories, and works on paper where ink spreads like an ancient imprint. Between abstract compositions playing with oxidation and figurative works focused on the detail of a ruin or a patinated object, each piece uses the roughness or fragility of the support to materialize the invisible flow of time.
