A curation by Raffaella Nobili, Owner and curator at Paraventi Giapponesi - This collection explores the Moon in its dual role as a celestial body and a symbolic magnetic pole. Indeed, the Moon immediately evokes the night and the alternation of light and shadow, in its sense of the revelation or transfiguration of reality.
Some works focus on its most realistic and direct representation: the typical silvery glow, the phases that mark the passage of time, the mysterious relationship with the landscape.
Other works, however, delve deeper into its dimension as a primordial figure, original principle, reference to dreams, perceptive mirror, cyclical form.
