Stéphane Dillies - curated by Ainhoa Fernández

A curation by Ainhoa Fernández, Art gallerist and curator at AF - Brussels-based artist Stéphane Dillies has exhibited internationally, from France to Qatar. He photographs discarded waste found around the world and transforms it into paintings, titling each work with the GPS coordinates of the object. Focused on images of chaos, his art reflects contemporary landscapes that expose society’s futility. A figurative painter who also explores abstraction, Dillies works in oil and acrylic with successive layers of glazes, creating pieces that merge critique with visual intensity.
