A curation by Natalie Slater, Curator at Singulart - In Stefano Mazzolini’s X-Rays, plants appear less like subjects placed in front of us and more like traces left behind. Leaves, stems, and flowers emerge in flashes of white and pale color against deep blues, blacks, rusts, and muted greens. Some remain sharply defined; others dissolve into the surrounding surface.
