Temporal Surface - curated by Giulia Falcone

A curation by Giulia Falcone, Art Expert || • Curator • Senior Advisor • Critic • Mentor at International Galleries and Institutions - Time doesn't flow, it settles. Each image is a surface of duration: a subtle field where the instant is held, stratified, and mutates. Visual matter thus becomes a fragile territory, where light records not only what appears, but the passage of time itself. In Temporal Surface, the visible is a constantly changing skin. What seems immobile contains the movement of what has already passed and what is about to happen. Every trace, every nuance, every vibration of matter is a way in which time takes visible form, while remaining elusive. These works exist in the interval between fixity and transformation: they remain, but they continue to change. Looking at them means perceiving time not as a measurement, but as a presence that expands, slowly and silently, across the surface of the world.
