It strikes like a slogan, spreads like a virus, imposes itself as an inescapable truth. This exhibition takes this simple, direct and explosive phrase as its starting point to examine the many faces of contemporary America. An America built on myths of greatness, freedom and power, but torn apart by deep divisions: social violence, systemic racism, hyper-consumption, the cult of weapons, the omnipresence of entertainment.
