A curation by Zoe MN, Independent Curator at - Water in All Its Forms offers a journey through the diverse forms, uses, and imaginations associated with this fundamental element. From drinking water to swimming pools, from rivers to oceans, from glaciers to the abyss, this exhibition celebrates the power, beauty, and fragility of water.
Both a commonplace everyday resource and a vital source of wealth, water nourishes, heals, relays, drowns, and reveals. It is by turns a peaceful surface, a devastating force, a mirror, a refuge, a boundary, or an unfathomable depth.
The works gathered here question our relationship with water: physical, symbolic, ecological. They explore its intimate and collective dimensions, its promises and its perils.
Sea, rain, swimming pool, river, pipe, wave, abyss: water multiplies, elusive. It is the sweetness of a daily gesture, the promise of summer, the fear of overflow, the memory of a submerged world. It is landscape and politics, dream and resource.
Also, the artists summon the strength and fragility of water, its moving beauty, its silent power, its vital presence.
