Imminently launching its 6th edition in Paris is Also Known As Africa (AKAA), France’s first contemporary art and design fair centered around Africa. To celebrate the work of African artists, SINGULART is holding its own African Art Auction, showcasing our internationally acclaimed artists, many of whom have themselves exhibited at notable art fairs.

How does a candle auction work?

The sale opens with available artworks at their original price. Then day after day the prices melt like candle wax, slowly dropping lower and lower until it is acquired. The longer you wait, the lower the price but the higher the risk of someone else acquiring the piece before you.
