About this artwork
In this piece, I combined expressive movement and control with the use of red, blue and yellow string, using acrylic and oil paint to form a figure walking across the canvas from the shadows into the light. Lines symbolizing the forces of positivity (red), negativity (blue) and yellow (expression) were applied later joining up droplets of the corresponding colours of paint left as the figure was being constructed.
