About this artwork
This acrylic abstract painting on stretched canvas captures the intricate, winding branches of an old tree. The composition plays with complex, organic lines that stretch and intertwine, evoking the tree's age and wisdom. The abstract rendering emphasises texture and movement, inviting the viewer to explore the deep, layered structure of nature in a bold and expressive way. This artwork was created using the plastic film technique whereby creased… plastic is pressed into watery acrylic which suggested this image to me. The artwork is signed and varnished with ultraviolet-protective varnish and supplied ready to hang with a white stain wooden floating frame. Frame measurements are 63 x 83 cm. A certificate of authenticity is included. Note that the images in situ are computer generated and are for illustrative purposes only.
