Inspired by cherry blossom, Watching Blossoms is a beautiful vibrant painting full of the hope and love that spring symbolises. A renewal of life after cold and dark winter months, a fleeting, joyful parade of pink exuberance which shouts “celebrate life”. The pink flowers are short lived but bring so much happiness…a metaphor for how our lives should be lived. Watching Blossoms has been… created in an expressionist style with dripped and thrown paint. Delicate white flowers and pink blossom brings a focus to the chaotic energy in the painting. Gold paint shines in the tangled undergrowth and a fine glitter shines in the sky like a gossamer layer, adding an ethereal quality to the painting. Watching Blossoms is ready to hang.
