About this artwork
My painting exudes a very dense, almost mystical atmosphere. It skillfully navigates the boundary between Impressionism and Abstraction. The image appears melancholic yet hopeful. The darkness at the bottom seems heavy, but the bright rays of light and the colorful blossoms add strong accents of vitality. It evokes a nocturnal scene by a pond. The cool blues and dark greens in the water provide a wonderful backdrop for the warm accents in the water…
