About this artwork
This particular painting features many layers of watered down acrylics of different colors and textures. Again, I think it comes from the corner of my mind which recalls years living in the beautiful Pacific coastal towns of Mexico. Spanish Colonial architecture and the old style of open/curtained doorways on homes in old cobblestone streets. There was so much to see in those doorways. Families interacting...mealtime..preparation for cultural events...a… truly layered and colorful world of humanness. Flawed, yet beautiful.
This artwork ships framed and wired for hanging. Signed on the back and comes with a handwritten thank you note from the artist. The floater frame is wood with a natural light maple finish. Unframed, the artwork itself measures 12x12in.
« Art should be a transformative experience, for the artist and the viewer. It is a conversation without words. »
