Clear, deep, blue swimming hole waiting to be explored…cool spring water..surrounded by lush jungle and silence all around…a moment in time…it seems a lifetime ago but the feeling of that place is still with me. Dive in, sit underwater and listen…it is a visual delight but closed eyes reveal even more.
Cenote 1 is part of an ongoing series entitled Zoom. These are conceptual works that in the creative process and appearance address the journey of… finding new perspectives and seeking understanding. Zoom in on things and study the finest, most insignificant details....zoom out and see the big picture...how everything fits together. It is the process of discovery, acceptance, and change.
