About this artwork
Shadowland...is one in a series of paintings created in the Spring and Summer of 2024. These paintings are the result of the artist’s exploration of what it means to inhabit the earth and to be truly present here. These images are the result of the artist’s view of the world and her connection to nature as space to meditate, commune with others on the most basic, primitive level….to belong…to be present and truly engaged…to truly achieve connection…
between humanness and the natural world.
