About this artwork
I used to pass these trees, standing alone in the middle of a field, every day for about three years, and I was able to observe at close quarters the seasonal changes to both the trees and their surroundings. This painting represents a snapshot in the late spring, when the fresh growth for the coming growing season is verdant and bursting with promise.
