About this artwork
The force amplifies and accumulates towards the edges, transforming the membrane into a thin, relief-like wall sculpture.
A special fastening system preserves the floating, original effect of this work and enables simple, secure wall mounting. Fields and traces of ink in the colors of the sun, patinated with the finest abrasive fleece. The bare, bare areas of the aluminum are matte and do… not reflect.
The center of the disc is perforated in several places by the meltdown. Depending on the type of lighting conditions and the viewing angle, the intensity of the colors and the shadows cast change.
The wall sculpture is signed on the front and back with the initials cR.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
