About this artwork
Deep Horizon is an abstract painting from a series of horizons, painted with acrylic paints. In this work, I explore the inner depth of a person from a psychological point of view—that space that is rarely visible from the outside, but which shapes our decisions, values, and path.
Here, the horizon becomes not just a line in space, but a symbol of an inner dimension. The level where a person confronts their true self. Their doubts, strengths, fears,… and possibilities.
The composition features an architectural structure of forms — a reflection of the human desire for order, stability, and meaning. But this structure has imperfect lines and intersections, reminiscent of natural cracks. They symbolize life experience — moments when the familiar structure of life changes, and it is through these changes that a person begins to see more deeply.
This work speaks of the depth of human horizons, those that open up only when a person stops living on autopilot and begins to ask.
