About this artwork
Shady Rabbit was born when I bought two metal stands, one gray- colored, and one brass-colored, and bound them together with a pipe clamp. I added a napkin holder, a bird, a rabbit head, and a carved fork, all made of wood. Also a copper-colored rose, a long metal arrow, a carved swan, a carved tropical fish, a large white finial, and a baseball. When I noticed the sculpture was unstable, I added a tree slice, complete with bark, as a base.
