About this artwork
Flowers have always been a source of inspiration in my work. They beautify the world and uplift my spirit in daily life. In this case, I wanted to represent them in a different way, with my own style. That's why I call it geometric neo-figuration. It's "neo" because of the presence of geometric abstraction within the figuration.
I created symbols that represent flowers, in this case circles and planes of different shapes that represent leaves.… Through color in the circles, I tried to represent the flowers, and the same happened with the branches. It's a symphony of shapes and colors that represents something figurative with its own style. To achieve this, I appealed to my imagination and creativity, which nourish the life of the artist, transforming the flowers into "My Flowers from My Inner Garden."
