Def: Action to put an end to the subjection which affects a group, a people. Cessation of a material or psychological constraint, which gives rise to a feeling of freedom.
Contemporary abstract painting by artist Delphine DESSEIN.
The omnipresence of verticalities in Liberation reveals an ascent towards absolute deliverance!
The fluorescent shades evoke an exacerbated effervescence, dynamism, vitality. Using a knife, the artist scrapes… the paint off the surface of the canvas as if to free himself from weight, excess weight that is too heavy, chains, etc. It is through the process of creation that Dessein frees itself, emancipates itself, sheds its knots.
Minimalist contemporary canvas with very strong symbolism!
"All Buddhism is based on the possibility of freeing oneself from suffering, of freeing oneself from it and only being able to free oneself from it".
Alexandra David-Néel
