About this artwork
In this work entitled "Everything in Flow" I worked passionately with acrylic paints to capture the essential and incessant movement of life.
The strong blue tones are interspersed with eruptive copper tones, which together form a dynamic composition that symbolizes the unpredictability and constant evolution of existence.

My pseudonym as a painter is DLII (D as in Dieter, LII as in 52 in Roman numerals - my year of birth 1952 - Daily News as a statement).
While painting, I let the video camera look over my shoulder and upload these making-of videos to my YouTube channel (approx. 1.7M clicks).
I describe my paintings in terms of composition, background story and technique on my homepage and in my book "Making Of - A Look Over the Shoulder of a Painter".
I have chosen the combination of painting, video, and image description as my philosophy.
