About this artwork
First, the idea of the first woman. With a different spelling of the first name. After research, I discovered that the individual was nicknamed Lucy in reference to the Beatles' song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Today, she is considered one of the most famous australopithecines. Dated 3.2 million years ago, she belongs to the species Australopithecus afarensis. Afterwards, everyone will move on. I left markers with shapes, round triangles, etc.…
It is like an initiatory journey to the confines of time where the primordial being predominated.
In this acrylic work, I also explored the turbulence of emotions and the beauty of chaos. Each touch of color represents a vivid emotion, a moment of life captured on canvas. The interplay of bold colors and abstract patterns evokes an energetic dance of feelings, intended to stimulate the imagination and energize any living space with a bold, vibrant presence.
