I played the work on a strong contrast between solids and voids, between impulsive gestures and more silent backgrounds. I was born in Trapani in 1936. I am a self-taught painter with a background in architecture, experimenting with oil on canvas, ink, watercolor, digital, ceramic, and wood. My flexible technique blends irrational vitalism and geometric morphologies, pursuing chromatic and formal balances with abstract accents and ironic symbolism. In my works, I have sought to convey my profound states of mind, intuitions, and emotional fragments, revealing an inner world dominated by the magic of the unconscious and the desire to connect with the deeper side of existence.
